SSC GD Constable Eligibility Criteria

Selection Procedure
The selection process for SSC GD Constable 2024 is rigorous and consists of several stages to ensure that only the best candidates are selected:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): The preliminary stage will be an online examination in which candidates will be tested on General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify the CBE will have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test to assess their physical fitness.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Height, Chest (for male candidates) and Weight will be checked in the PST as per the prescribed standards.
- Medical Test: The last stage is the medical test, where the medical fitness of the candidates will be assessed.
Pay Scale
Candidates selected for SSC GD Constable posts will be offered competitive salary in Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100) along with other allowances as per the rules of the respective forces.
How to Apply?

- SSC GD Constable OTR Instructions: SSC has started one time registration on its new website SSC.GOV.IN. Candidates who have not yet done OTR registration on the new website will be able to apply for SSC GD Constable 2024 Recruitment only after completing the registration.

- SSC GD Constable Photo Instructions: SSC has made a big change in the application process. Now the candidate’s photo will be uploaded live, that too through webcam or through the official SSC app. The candidate has to keep in mind that he should look straight ahead in the photo and the background should also be light/white
- SSC GD Constable Signature Size & Resize: The signature to be uploaded in the SSC online application must be of a specific dimension and its size should also be between 10 to 20 kB
- Please check and collect the all documents – Eligibility, ID Proof, Address Details, Basic Details.
- Please keep ready scan documents related to Recruitment Form – Photo, Signature, ID Proof, Etc.
- Before submitting the application form must check the preview and all columns carefully.
- If the candidate is required to pay the application fee then he has to submit it. If you have not paid the required application fee then your form will not be considered complete.
- Take a print out of the finally submitted form.
