Application Fee

• Gen/ OBC/ EWS: Rs. 200/-
• SC/ ST/ Female: No Fee
• Application fee can be paid online through net banking, credit/debit card or offline through e-challan.

UPSC CDS Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• IMA & OTA: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Indian Naval Academy: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
• Air Force Academy: Bachelor’s degree (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering from a recognized university.

Age Limit

• Indian Military Academy (IMA): Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 2001 and not later than 1st July 2006.
• Indian Naval Academy (INA): Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 2001 and not later than 1st July 2006.
• Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 years as of 1st July 2024 (born not earlier than 2nd July 2000 and not later than 1st July 2004).
• Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for men): Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1999 and not later than 1st July 2005.
• Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried, and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried and born not earlier than 2nd July 1999 and not later than 1st July 2005.

How to Apply?

• One Time Registration OTR: One Time Registration System is implemented in UPSC, hence to apply for CDS II, the candidate must have OTR, those who do not have it, should apply only after registering a new OTR.
• Union Public Service Commission UPSC has released the Combined Defense Academy CDS 2 Recruitment 2024 Notification and invited online application form for UPCS CDS II Recruitment 2024, candidates can apply online from 15 May 2024 to 04 June 2024.
